As I have said on the thread about the Magnificent 7, we are not just replacing quality footballers, but a lot of character.
I am sure Parkie will live up to his reputation for looking at these football intelligent players with character, strength and humour.
Can anyone here see players of such character that might be available?
This is why, in my opinion, we shouldn't be averse to bringing in the right experience as long as we're diligent on checking their fitness etc. For example, the lad that was club captain at Crewe would be a good substitute for Jake Moult.
I agree but we could still out performance at least one of the teams around us like Barnet, Aldershot or Eastleigh who aren't exactly setting the world on fire either.
I hoped for 16th at the start of the season and we might not be that far away hopefully.
This is an encouraging point; we're still in touch with a large bunch of teams above us that we could reel in with a long overdue patch of good form.
A win against Weymouth, if we'd have gone ahead, would have taken us to the lofty heights of 14th.
Be in the playoffs before you know it
Honestly given how fickle this forum is, string two wins together and we'll be going up.

I prefer Marriott to Osborne from what I've seen, and I agree Densmore stays at RB although would be wary of fatigue.
2-1 Alty.
Saturday in mind?
