Altrincham FC First Team / Next Season

To start 3rd October. According to Wrexham.
• The scheduled start date of the 2020/21 Season is Saturday, 3 October 2020.
• 46 league fixtures will be scheduled in the National Division, and either 42 or 40 league fixtures will be scheduled in the North and South Divisions.
• The North and South Divisions will commence the season with The FA Cup Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 3 October.
• The final league match of the normal season is scheduled for Saturday 29 May 2021.
• The end of season play-offs are scheduled to take place in June 2021.
Please note the season end date and the scheduling of the play-offs in June is subject to FA approval.

Altrincham FC First Team / Provisional Playoffs
« on: June 17, 2020, 10:03:05 PM »Teams: York, Boston, Brackley, Altrincham, Chester, Gateshead.
Need a minimum of four teams willing to take part.
🔸6 clubs participate - playoffs as normal with 2 ‘eliminator’ fixtures & then semis
🔸5 clubs participate - the 2 lowest ranked clubs play the eliminator
🔸4 clubs participate - all clubs straight into semis
🔸3 or less participate - playoffs cancelled
Quarter Final and Semi Final at high-placed club
Final at neutral ground.
Games to take place between Saturday 18th July and Friday 31st July.

Interesting that Darlington and Chester have both run these campaigns recently.
Darlington have raised over 100k whilst Chester are on 44k after just a few days.
This is cash pledged over 12 months in the form of direct debits and some cash sums going.
100k gives £2500 a week over 40 weeks. Can make a huge difference at this level.

Good to see so many fans there today.
Thanks to the club for feeding us and organising in a safe manner. Great work by Stuart and Neil (no doubt others) for putting the plans in place so we were able to make a huge impact in a short space of time.

I see Workington have been working with fan group United We Stand in order to get as many fans as possible to buy an e-ticket for their FA Cup match re-run vs Manchester United.
Given our past FA Cup game against Liverpool, could we consider the same? Liverpool haven't been this popular in years and it opens up fundraising to a different audience?
