Pitch has stood up brilliantly to a real battering by the rain in the recent weeks but snow and sub-zero temperatures might be too much. Not until Sunday it begins to warm up and it will not get above 1-2c on Saturday daytime. Therefore I think even at this early stage it will be 50/50 at best. Fingers crossed though. IF it is on then we really need to go back to back home wins with Wealdstone and Maidenhead to get our play off bid back on track. Wealdstone have let in 3 goals in each of their last 3 away matches and obviously lost Alex Reid from the original game so I would be confident.

Player wise I would assume a very similar XI to Barnet. Kossy still suspended and maybe Weaver back on the bench but cannot see any need for major changes. Lots of games coming up. Bickerstaff and Nutall both impressed last Saturday so decent attacking options. Wonder if the lad from Preston might feature over the next week too.

It's going to freeze fairly hard over the next couple of days and I doubt the temperatures will get high enough at any point to thaw it out sufficiently.

Shame, the forecast earlier in the week showed it to be a good few degrees above freezing on Friday night but it looks like it'll be down to zero again.

Would love to see a front 4 of Kossy, Weaver, Newby and Linney. Crankshaw and Reddin options to come on.

Feel we need to be more brave for the rest of the season. I would much prefer us going for it, rather than reserved tactics.

Weaver deserves a run of games. Won?t see his potential with the odd 5 mins here and there.

The LB from Preston looked quick. Golden has done really well, but I personally feel we miss a left foot. Balances us out.

Was Kosylo's suspension for three matches or merely a single game?

No word from the club.

I think two yellow ones are a one match ban, straight reds a three - but I could well be mistaken (or imagined it!) 😏 😊

Pitch inspection 1045 tomorrow morning I see.

Poor Wealdstone I think are doomed never to play at Moss Lane on a Saturday again.

pitch looks just fine to me. We just need to buy one of those brown footballs we used to see in the 70's and 80's  ;D

I watched us play on some horrific pitches in the 80's. But in those days we had John King and the boys who were never going to be put off by a little bit of mud/snow/fog/being knee'd in the balls by a goalkeeper.
