if we beat the frost then I expect a full strength team from what is available.

I assume Kosylo will be available.

Given it's the Trophy I wouldn't be surprised to see Jake Bickerstaff given a go - but I would definitely have Alex Newby at 10 over Matty Kosylo.

I agree it would be good to see Eddy given a start too.

Hopefully we'll start to see some returning faces to the squad in the next few fixtures.

I'd like to see Marriott and Crawford in the middle but I don't think we will.

I might have missed it, but have we appealed the Kossy red card?

Why would we? Sheer idiocy and lack of control.

So I suppose that's probably a 'no' then. 😂

Didn't Bickerstaff's loan period expire on New Year's Day?

Have we extended it?

Tom Crawford's recent three-match suspension included that FA Trophy tie against Macc, so I would fully expect Kosylo to be ineligible for Saturday's game (plus the two ensuing league fixtures).

For one reason or another, the Bickerstaff loan signing just hasn't worked and I wonder whether we'll see another youngster brought in from an EFL club. Stretton at County has had 2 unsuccessful loan moves, but maybe we'd be a better fit?

We certainly need an effective backup for Regan. Surely moves are being made.
We'll be told (eventually) I suppose.

It that's the case over Kosylo and no Bickerstaff then I assume Osborne will go to 10 and Marriott will come in. Then Reddin/Weaver out wide. Linney up top. I hear Crankshaw is in the running for a return but assume to be from subs bench.

I believe Bickerstaff is still with us until mid-month as things stand, but I think Kosylo will be out.

Reddin or Weaver to start on the right wing, or we might stick a midfielder in 10 and put Alex Newby there.

No great surprise, but we are still none the wiser regarding the extent of George Wilson's injury.

Correct. The loan runs till the middle of January.

Looking forward to this one. Two good footballing sides and normally goals at both ends. We should be fresh after no game since Boxing Day & hope we put out a strong XI.

The nature of the FAT these days though is there will be changes and wise with many games coming up in Jan to use the squad. Weaver or Reddin to come in you?d assume & defensively maybe time for one of Cooper or Jones & Eddy Jones overdue a run out too. No idea re Bickerstaff/Nutall/Crankshaw or who knows maybe a mystery attacking loan signing will just pop up on Saturday morning.

I think WRT Barnet the cards are stacked more in our favour. Their ?local derby? on NYD a nice 4 hour round trip down to Eastleigh. Now another long journey to us which I reckon might just be an on the day job, rather then an ovenight as it would be for a league match. They must be prioritising the automatic promotion battle so I envisage they will make a fair few changes. And whilst their away record is decent it?s not a patch on their home form either.

To me it points to a 2-1 home win in front of a predictably low all pay post Christmas crowd of 1,465. As long as the temperature does not drop too far tomorrow night I am very confident we will be on. The pitch considering half the town was flooded looked magnificent in that photo from the FB group yesterday.
