Because IMO we haven?t started a run of games with our best 4 attacking players, also we need a Wilson in CM to win the ball back and drive us. He did that perfectly today.

I'm fairly sure Oldham cleared a goal-bound shot off their line late in the first half, plus their keeper had to push away a decent Alex Newby freekick late in the second half, plus Justin A had a one on one which he shot wide late on as well, so that's 3 off the top of my head.

We started poorly but Oldham seemed less interested in playing football after they scored, so we did improve markedly as the game went on. George Wilson kind of did the same - got much better as the game went on. We are still too lightweight/give the ball away too much in midfield though.

Hope Baines is OK and Marriott is back soon, which will obviously help us in midfield.

Originally thought tomorrow was going to be another struggle but, having read of the loan signing of Jake Bickerstaff has buoyed me up somewhat. If we can all put in a shift and take our chances I now fancy us to get three points
