What a performance by the lads.
All of them put a shift in. Ansen had a very good game.
Back 4 excellent.
Osborne and Taylor stood out for me, both covered so much ground and broke things up.
Keep it going.

He played really well.

agree with all other comments, great turn out by Alty fans and made ourselves heard.

Would have taken a point before the game, shame it was an error that got Oldham out of jail. Parky and Sorvs have some big decisions to make there in the GK area, crucial we get tit correct for the run in. Shame Matty let us all down, he would have been good to bring on.. Other injuries worry me, were getting far too many again. Now have Ross, E Jones, Crankshaw, Marriott (but appeared to be warming up), Wilson, anyone else I missed.

Defo have too many injuries.
Especially, ACL?s.

Agree with what others have already said.
Linney and Newby are playing their peak football. Bringing both off at the same time and going to the dreaded wingbacks killed us.
We just don?t look organised, players look uncomfortable in that formation and we sit far too deep. Luckily, we held on for a point, but that was a horrible last 30 mins.
I would have put Reddin on to get us out.
We looked dangerous on the counter for the last 30 mins of first half.
Golden was MOTM.
The keeper did OK, his age really worries me. Don?t mind outfield players being so young but goalkeeper is a position where you need experience and confidence. Will be hard, but I would be looking for a keeper mid 20?s or above. A big character.
Business end of the season, got to get it right.

Pasiek has gone back to Preston

Shame. I thought he looked decent.

Wonder what injury Eddie Jones has? Struggled all season, which is a massive shame for the team.

Very tough assignment this one. Would take a point before KO as we seem to be down to the bare bones.

                                      ?

Banks              Olson              Baines            Golden

                Osborne                   Crawford

Justin/Crankshaw?         Newby                    Weaver

                                  Linney

I?m sure Oldham will be as clueless as me as to our lineup

I agree with your selection.

The pace of Amaluzor and Weaver, with Linney up top would cause them issues.

Don't think Parky will be brave enough, probably end up with the 3 CMs, Linney and Newby out wide with Bickerstaff up top. I am hoping this won't be the case and he goes for it. Shouldn't fear them.

I would be having Pasiek as one of the subs, rather than two CB's.

Great win, not a great game.
Started well for about 10 mins, knocking it around.
What a goal to win it.
I thought both Crawford and Osborne played well. However, need Osborne off corners, always hung up high and over hit. So many times they attacked from our corners.
I appreciate Linney scored off the wing but we need him up top. Nuttall only does it off the bench.
I don?t think Amaluzor deserves a start ahead of Weaver, ran into trouble a lot and spent most of the game on the deck.
Back 4 were solid. Baines and Olsen compliment each other so well.
Buzzing as I could see them nicking it. Fingers crossed for a home tie.

              Ross

Banks olson. Baines. Golden

      Osbourne.     Crawford

  Crankshaw.  Newby.    Linney

            Nuttall

Quite happy for dull second half if we are 4-0 in front at the break

Alty 2-0 Eastleigh. (Newby, Baines (header from a corner)?

This will be the team.

I would still have Linney up top and one of the other wingers starting.

Even though Amaluzor frustrates me, it would be ace to see a full firing Amaluzor, Crankshaw, Newby and Linney in the same attack. Would frighten any team.

Maybe consider starting the left back and having Golden RB. Think we attack better with a natural left footer at LB.

Get at them from the off, another big opportunity in the trophy.

Not Nuttall from the start. Better off the bench.

               Ross

Banks  Olson  Baines Golden

     Marriott  Crawford

 Weaver  Newby  Kossy

             Linney

Osborne much better deeper so if Marriott ain?t fit then alongside Crawford.

Hopefully Crankshaw can make the bench.

No fear, attack and let them worry about us.

Top result, well done lads.

Buzzing Weaver was given a start, grew into the game and will only get better with more starts and confidence.

Nuttall was not good, lack of effort was very obvious. The ball from Linney was a peach for him to attack, there was no attempt.

With so many wide players coming back, we just need to stick to Linney as the 9 and Newby 10.

Linney can make the runs off the left as the 9.

No reason why we can?t finish in the playoffs, must keep positive and be attacking, as currently we are being.

Would love to see a front 4 of Kossy, Weaver, Newby and Linney. Crankshaw and Reddin options to come on.

Feel we need to be more brave for the rest of the season. I would much prefer us going for it, rather than reserved tactics.

Weaver deserves a run of games. Won?t see his potential with the odd 5 mins here and there.

The LB from Preston looked quick. Golden has done really well, but I personally feel we miss a left foot. Balances us out.

if we beat the frost then I expect a full strength team from what is available.

I assume Kosylo will be available.

          Ross

Banks Olson Bains EJones

    Osborne Crawford

Newby   Kosylo  Linney

       Bickerstaff

Need Marriott alongside Crawford. That midfield would be too slow.

Need to be more positive away, will be difficult as we have limited wide players, with injuries and suspensions. Personally,I feel if we don?t go attacking ,then they will pick us off.

Tough game.

                      Ross

Banks     Olson    Baines    Golden

              Marriott  Crawford

Weaver         Newby       Reddin

                      Linney

We?ve looked so rigid away from home this season, apart from the odd game. Need more freedom to attack and higher tempo.

Unfortunately, don't think Parky will go attacking and I can only see a defeat.

Hope to be proven wrong.

Home festive fixture, still deems lots of injuries so my team barring more would be

             Ross

Banks Olson   Baines Golden

      Wilson  Crawford

Weaver    Newby   Kosylo

         Linney

Agree with this, maybe James Jones for Olson.

Would love to see that front 4. Has Parky got the bottle?.? Not sure.
