Also, yeah, superb team effort but Ansen was fantastic this afternoon, well done to him!

But Newby, Nuttall and Crawford all subbed off on 18 minutes!   That is a strange one for sure.

I think our best chance in this game is to hope Barnet are binning off the FAT as they push for automatic promotion.  Hoping we put out a full strength team.  Would be great to have another run in the Trophy.

I just hope that the youngsters on here (and the players and management!) realise how much this game means to us Codgers! 😉
I'm sure they do! 👍

Exactly Saughall, exactly!

Maybe it?s my natural pessimism, but I am seriously worried about this game.   For those of us ?old timers? on this forum, you can probably relate!

Irony is that we got to the Salford and Bradford friendlies and I thought we defended well.   Same for last week when we were a man down for an hour.  Today has been a defensive disaster to put it mildly.

Well down to 10 men after 10 minutes of the new season is hardly the greatest start🤦🏼

Proud of the team and the season we’ve had.  Should not be forgotten.  Talk about a game of 2 halves.  We were comfortably the better team first half and they obviously got a rocket at HT and we were just second best after that.  Onwards to next season.  Can we keep CCC and this team together?  That is the question.   All in all, a great season.

We had a   15 minutes and that is that

Nightmare start to the half.  Conceding from a long throw :(
