First Update as promised:

And We're off......

The TASC football predictions competition got underway this weekend, with 19 entrants competing for the title of TASC's top tipster of 2010.

Off to a flyer in week one are Colin Mitchell and Peter Foster who both scored 7 from the 9 points available, both getting two 100% correct predictions. Ian Hunter scored a highly respectable 6 points, also getting two predictions 100% correct. Paul Salt, 'Mystic George' Heslop and Pete Hennerley were the only others to pick up a bonus point this weekend. Special mention to vice-chairman Grahame Rowley who was the only player not to score any points this weekend!! Full table is attached

The postponed York v AFC Wimbledon game remains a part of the competition and any points for the prediction of that result will be added in when the rearranged match takes place.

On to the prize breakdown, the winner stands to collect £19.00, the runner-up will receive £14.25 and third place will receive £9.50. The draw for the 'stake back' position will take place later today. The remainder of the money (£47.25) will be paid into the club.

The next update will appear after the Mansfield game tonight
