United Res V City Res this Thur
« on: March 08, 2010, 07:22:12 PM »

Just found out there will be a big crowd on Thursday with the possibility of a mass pitch invasion
to protest against the Glazers. Around 5000 is expected.

Just hope they don't wreck our home if anything does go off.

If 5000 turn up all paying £5 each that will be £25,000 they are paying the Glazers. A strange way to protest against them.

Thanks for all the comments guys but if you really want to help prevent any problems, please can you let Darren  know where this imformation has come from. The club and stewards need as much information as they can get so that they can make the necessary stewarding arrangements to prevent a problem, which could not only damage our ground but also could mean we lose the revenue we get from Man Utd games inthe future.

Is it true Owen Hargreaves will be playing? I have spoken to a few United fans about this rumour but they all think he is out for the season. Nobody knows anything about the anti Glazer protest either. It looks like Anarchy in Altrincham might be a wind up.

It was on the BBC website about Hargreaves playing on Thursday night.

Mind you, that's not an indication of accuracy.....

That would be nearer the case with the BBC.. They probably still have Matt Busby down as the manager
