TASC Football Predictions Competition 2010
 
Think that you are Altrincham's top tipster? Want the chance to win some money for your predictions?
 
TASC is launching its first ever football prediction competition.
 
The rules are simple:
1) Simply predict the outcomes of 60 football matches
2) Earn points based on your predictions as follows:
1 point for the correct number of goals scored by the home team
1 point for the correct number of golals scored by the away team
1 bonus point for getting the result 100% correct.
 
A league table will be updated on the website and forum each week. Entry into the competition costs £5. The winner will receive 20% of the income, the runner up will recieve 15% of the income, 3rd place will recieve 10% of the income and, one selected place will win their £5 stake back. The remainder of the income will go to TASC. Please note that where entrants finish level on points, the number of 100% correct results will be used as the tie-breaker.
 
How do you enter?
Simply either download an entry form from the forum, or pick up an entry form from the TASC stand of the club shop, at the home against Kettering on March 16th. Completed entries should be returned to me no later than FRIDAY MARCH 19th. The first matches take place on Saturday March 20th.

I agree, a great idea but a monthly coupon would have been more interesting (and probably raise more cash). Still I'm in !

If it's a success how about one for the World Cup Finals Group Matches during the summer including a prediction for Winners, Runners Up, 3rd & 4th places ?

I see that the form includes Alty v York as one of the matches to be played 20 April.

In my eagerness to enter, I've already put that down as a 1-0 win to Alty !

I guess I'll have to rub it out and fill in the correct score before I hand my coupon in next week ?

New fixture list uploaded on my original post. Only change is that the Alty v York game has been replaced by Wigan v Arsenal.

As we now have a game saturday, you can collect/ hand in entry forms at the club shop before kick off and at half of the York and Kettering games

should do a forum league  predictions it would be fun. see who is top and you could look were you are in the league. or have i mess up again .

You can already do that - It'll cost you a fiver - Just fill in the form and send it off or hand it in.

I sorted it now. I downloaded it on my laptop and it worked.
