At least it was a mistake from us rather than a nice move from them that will fill them confidence - we can still win this.  Come on Alty

Whilst I admire your optimism BA that's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read.

You don't think the early goal has filled them with confidence then?

Sounds like Smithy forgot that Stu's not in nets, he often gives him outfield player passes because he's so good with his feet.

16 mins: Eastbourne still on top; Saunders looks nervous after his error

Disappointing isn't it? I don't think harold has put in the required effort today....certainly not up to recent play off form standards

Given the they had scored the early goal I was pleased to see they hadn't dramatically improved from Tuesday but "only" profited from our mistake.  Obviously much better that they hadn't scored at all ...

Although from the next two updates it appears my optimism was misplaced!

What's the worst that can happen?

Oh! 1-0 down!

Can you change that for Dandelion & Burdock?

I keep telling H that ham and pickle is the winning combo. Never listens.

6 fouls so far by our hosts (to Alty's 1). I wonder if there will be 11 v 11 by the end of the match.

Perhaps Eastbourne are looking to stifle any quality. I hope the ref does not let then get away with it.

"19:29 Booking Chris Denham fouled by Gary Elphick, the ref awards a free kick. The referee cautions Gary Elphick for unsporting behaviour."

Didn't he used to play "Boon"

20 mins: Eastbourne concede foul after foul
25 mins: Alty still rocked by early goal
