and it was rubbish, how can people watch such a stop /start go backwards game. Besides, when I played rugby at school we didn't have limitless subs, and as for the music after every score, its dreadful.
Twickenham is a nice stadium, good view etc, wasted on a stupid egg shaped game. No atmosphere as no one REALLY supports their team, its not life or death, just a jolly afternoon out. Hideous.

It was Harlequins v Wasps, at Twickenham instead of H's usual ground The Stoop, across the road. Heavily advertised locally we went along as the prices were good, it was something different to do, and my son displayed an interest.

Problems for me were a lack of action, really stop/start, no real running rugby, kicks for everything, and a real lack of atmosphere as if the people there are not really that bothered.

Also, I played rugby at school.....we had to......and there were no multiple subs, the game didn't stop every couple of minutes while some prima donna pulled his socks up and countless bibbed people brought unnecessary drinks on for the players.

I can go to football games where I have no real interest as a supporter and enjoy the occasion, but not yesterday.

Union>League for me. League is too stop start all the time for me. And to say that all the best players play league is a joke, since Union went pro it attracts all the best players.
