Big plus from last Saturday that hasn't been mentioned much

It was very pleasing to have a crowd of 1,100+ for a game which, in previous seasons, we'd have struggled to get over 800 for. Well done to the club for having the kids teams and also the £5 offer to boost the crowd.

It's easy to overlook the progress being made at our club sometimes. I think everyone at the club deserves a lot of credit for their efforts.

I think included that is 200 children who had free tickets as part of the funday. But even so it's nearly 900 home fans which is much more than recent years. Also FGR bought much more than they normally do (about 30) despite being a shadow of the side they've been in recent seasons - the weirdoes!

Another thing that has been overlooked is the fantastic job our groundstaff have done oevr the years, so we actually had a match to watch.

Last year we lost 5-2 in front of a crowd of 832 including 25 away fans this year there were 32 of them.
