This is a good inititiative by the club.  However it will cost them money but I believe they have done it for the fans.

I don't believe that we will see any more than ten more people come because of the reduced price.  And I bet 50% of the people who do come were expecting to pay £13 quid.

My crowd prediction will will be 167 with 20 from Witton

I heard they got a shirt sponsorship deal from BET365 as well whihc must have been worth quite a bit.
I will no longer bet with BET 365 anymore now they are sponsoring the slime.

Also a little bit ungracious of them allowing Bet365 to hijack the sponsorship. I take it they've forgotten the money they've been getting from Blue Square who surely wouldn't have been happy to have their logo on Vics arms while the front of the shirt is emblazoned with a rival firm.

Classy as always.

The corresponding fixture last season with full prices (£12) had a gate of 226 with my guess of 20 or so from Witton.

One thing in our favour crowd-wise is the fact we've had no game for 10 days. Might tempt a few extra supporters out for the evening.

Much as it pains me, that was a very good FA Cup performance.

As for Charlton, was that some kind of betting sting?  What a joke performance that was, no wonder no one went!

Perhaps I might be somewhat bitter but I couldn't bring myself to read this thread.
I admire you magnanimity Ecky. You're a better man than me.

I just thought Vics tried hard and Charlton were shocking.

Indeed Charlton were so unbelievably bad that I'd have fancied Trafford to beat them, let alone Vics.
