Much as it pains me, that was a very good FA Cup performance.

As for Charlton, was that some kind of betting sting?  What a joke performance that was, no wonder no one went!

I thought they were excellent.

It is really difficult to begrudge them winning, given the performance they put in.

It's not fun to watch is it?

I've got to give it to them though, in the short bit I watched they were all over the goal.

Vics completely outplayed them!

I'm well jealous of them!

They provided me with enough comedy to bear the result,  from the goalkeeping coach (thats needed in a bankrupt club in the Conference North) to Mad Jim Rushe saying he wasn't bothered about the money.

As you say, excellent performance though.

utterly devasted by charlton's performance. decent performance from northwich, although massive pitch invasion (the naughty green slimes)
could get the club in trouble.

Jimmy,

No, it isn't actually.

As stated on a similar thread, following the disgraceful antics of Jim Rushe/Vics last season in withholding FA Cup gate receipts that were due to Telford United and making no effort to pass on the money owed (didn't Vics own supporters raise the funds to cover this sum?), the club should have been suspended from the FA Cup for at least one season.

Today provides further evidence that cheats do prosper.

And yes, "I bear more grudges than lonely high court judges", to quote Morrissey.

Another home draw for them in the next round and a distinctly winnable one at that.

How many people are out of pocket because of the disgraceful manner in which that club has conducted it's business in recent years?
Now they've got the golden goose we're all supposed to feel pleased for them?

I don't think so.....

Going to make mad Jims "we'd like to offer 30p in the pound" offer have to go a bit higher.

What was the crowd?

If we had played at Mansfield with even half of the passion shown by the Vics players today, we might have got something.
