As we've been told that we mustn't harbour unrealistic expectations, I shall be tonight's wet blanket.

All three of the clubs immediately below us have a game (two in one case) in hand on us, so we could be back down to 10th. before long.

Rejoice ye people of Altrincham.

(Although the GH press release of caution and realism is probably being penned as we celebrate)

Superb result....well done the lads and graham and kenny.

I'm really gonna upset the 'cote and predict we will avoid relegation this year!...I obviously need a reality check!

This says it all for me really- when voice of dissent is leading the battle cry it really does tell you something- we are in a real purple patch- long may it continue- well done lads - very proud :)

Just back from the game... I thought all the Alty lads put in a good performance today.. BBC TV said Tom curled the free kick into the top corner (It actually was deflected and went in the bottom corner) but hey ho who gives a sh1t..

The Alty fans pissed off the stewards after their half hearted request for us to sit down was ignored (we werent blocking anybody's view). But they did let us out for a ciggy at half time ..

The wind didnt permit pretty football but as I say all the Alty lads did what was required to bury the hoodoo of never beating R&D at their place..

Good banter amongst the Alty fans who it seemed  influenced the lino on more than one occassion (I may have to start standing in the Golf road end)  ;)

Nice to see Greg, Robbie and Colin get 20 mins as well..

Nice ground but the entrance fee and food outlet was pretty expensive and 3 quid for a programme.

7th place and in my mind we are not in a false position...

Well done GH KK the backroom staff and of course the lads

Cmon Alty.

Today was simple... Alty are back, we play with passion, our team are beginning to look like a close knit family. Like Tony Sanders team of 1976-1981.
Pride... passion.. belief..
Nicky Clee was top man outfield.. Stu must be in Team of the week in NLP
Chris Senior ran his bits off.
We have plenty of options now, Robbie W up front,3 at the back but with Densie to drop back as needed.
We should be fear no other tea in this league.
Best squad since warly 90s
Proud to be a Robin!
Where ever we finish this season it is clear that The Robins are on the march. No one will wa t us in the Cup.
Lets get the League Teams beaten count going again.
Believe, shout your socks off and who knows where it'll end.

If someone wearing a wig scores a goal with a header, is that a goal from a hair piece?

You'd better ask Stephen Ireland.
