Two seasons ago he was a very popular loan player from Stoke City at Altrincham but now Ryan Shotton is making himself a name in the Championship. Now on loan at Barnsley, the young defender was Man of the Match as the Yorkshire club defeated Roy Keane's Ipswich Town last Saturday.

Apparently he's playing on the left side of the back four. Always did say he could do a job anywhere.
