Hello

This is Jennifers Mum.    Jennifers Dad is in hosptial and is likely to be there for quite a while.  I wont go into details right now as its not my story to tell.  However he is missing catching up with the team and apart from the score which he gets from the radio other information about the games which people here feel he would like to know. if you can post here and ill check back daily

oh and ill probably want to buy him something from the team shop is there a link someone can post

thank you very much everyone hopefully if he does as well as the team are doing this season he will be out sooner rather than later

thanks in advance everyone

Hi Jennifer's Mum,

I am another fan of JD's posts.  Many have made me laugh and have been read out to the amusement of Mrs Bath Alty (who is very impressed that you have posted on here she "wouldn't have a clue"!).  JD is the only name she'd recognise from the forum.

As an exile it's great to share match day on here with others and JD livens up every game.  He will be greatly missed while he is away, please send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I am hoping to get to the Kiddy game on Saturday, if JD would like a programme to read while he is laid up I'll post it to you if you PM me with your address.  (click on my name and there is a link to send me a personal message at the bottom - sorry if you know all this but I'm going on Mrs Bath Alty's level of technical competance!)

Jen's mum, my dad had a spell in hospital earlier in the year, he was in Leighton near Crewe. They had an option of paying for stuff including TV, and internet access. Appallingly expensive but if it helps keep the big man interested?

JD, get well soon.  Best wishes from across the Atlantic and, as has already been pointed out,  we need you back so we can get back on the winning trail.  All the best for a speedy recovery JD.

Yeah, all the best JD.

I'm another one of those exiles who interact via the forum on matchdays.....was wondering where he was.

Speedy recovery.

thank you everyone

Its a pity he is in such an old fashioned ward with no access to Broadband.  He is on the mend but he will not be back home for the next game.  All of a sudden ive had to take a major interest in football to give him as much info as i can.

We had booked a holiday to allow him to come to a game at the end of September so its fingers crossed for then
