From a purely selfish Alty point of view, Torquay going up is surely the best outcome for us, as Cambridge's away following is usually larger and, therefore, our gate receipts prosper more when they visit Moss Lane.

Sad to see Camb lose but glad to get rid of those tossers in Devon...

Also, as we have no overnight stops this coming season, Cambridge is much more reachable as a journey for the players than Torquay.

Yes, but did anyone on here REALLY want to see the Turkeys prosper? From a selfish point of view, most would agree that Cambridge are a better club to be playing, however for all of those same reasons they are a club who are more deserving of promotion.
