I've got to go and get the nipper from nursery.  Good luck all, here is hoping maybe we can come up with some late heroics for once.... :P

Not content with calling off the original fixture due to frozen pitch, Mr Harrington has to go home for his tea! His wife no doubt rang him during the interval!

Can't agree mate, it shows that a couple or more poor results plus Utd on tv means  a crap gate. Say we actually did well and had a bit of a run, it would clearly drop off as soon as things weren't as good. Our top years in 79-80 80-81 were not in fairness that well supported. Does this town and environs deserve a decent side is the question?

Phil Taylor or Andrew Coop have been summoned to the tunnel area. Presumably they require a qualified official to be 4th official.

But when you consider there are no floaters there tonight and that we've also won three games in 2009 it could also be a lot worse. Don't get me wrong, 605 is a crap attendance but it's better than it might have been.

Agreed, when was he last time we had such a low attendance.

I can assure you that, if I was in travelling distance, I would be there. When I was local (Chester/Ellesmere Port) a match at ML was always a bigger draw than the champions league
