Shame we've played Alty twice now. Would've liked to have seen Heathcote try and chin Morrison!

Heathcote has come up against morrison across the dug outs on a number of occasions, and to be honest some prick on steroids from northwich would be easy pickings for most lads from altrincham,manager included.

So...did you start a thread about a bloke who most lads from Altrincham would find easy pickings for the sake of it or was it just another chance to have a jibe at Vics?

I wonder. 

I started the thread to inform "our" supportrers that a local side has engaged a new manager, as most people would find it interesting that another club in our locality has employed a new manager so soon after the previous one fled,especially one with such a "colourful" history in the game,and the courts.However you probably wouldnt uinderstand that,have you not got a frying pan that needs the pancake mix rinsing off it or something?

Sorry my mistake, only I thought with your original comment you were making out he was a bit of hard man. And as far as I know he's not our manager; that'll be Andy Preece.

For me, this appoinment clearly shows that Vics are now preparing for Conf North. Preece now has two months of competitive football in which to assess his squad and work out who he feels can do the job for him next season.

I wonder if they will stay full time and retain the likes of Reeves/Allan/Byrom? Will be interesting to see how they approach it because the "promotion at all costs" approach (should they adopt it) would be rather questionable to say the least!

Preece and Morrison are just there in a caretaker capacity for the moment. I guess IF they manage to achieve some sort of respectability from the remaining fixtures and IF they want the job after that, they'd head the list.

It's nice to see Preece and Morrison have agreed to work for the Vics for no pay, or is someone else not going to be paid, to pay their wages.
