Oxford Predictions

so what do we think? will the enforced rest help or hinder us?

looking at Oxfords last few league home games they appear to be in good form (2 wins & 1 draw)

Oxford Utd 1-1 Stevenage
Oxford Utd 5-1 Ebbsfleet United
Oxford Utd 2-0 Salisbury

Our Away form over the same period was good aswell, however it has been over 2 weeks since we last played and this could have effected our momentum

Northwich 0-1 Altrincham
        York 1-2 Altrincham

Blue SQ gives the odds at : Oxford United 8/11   Draw 12/5  Altrincham 7/2

Im going for:

Oxford Utd     2 - 1   Alty
Constable 20            Young 41
Odubade 51

I just think that at the Kassam Oxford are a decent outfit and will be looking to put a bad week (points deductions and trophy exit) behind them, however i do rekon we will make them work for it. The game will not be the same demolition it was last year.

I think we are the value bet. The odds should be 5/4 Oxford. Alty 7/4. Draw 5/2.

We have a fully fit squad now, the players have had a rest, so they will be up for it. Oxford on the other hand, might be a little disheartened and have low confidence at the moment. I would say a score draw would be a good result. However, if we end up 2-0 up then give away two goals in the final quarter I will go home an unhappy fan.

1-0 to the Supers with Robbie scoring on his return.

4-0 to Alty, Johnson and Senior goals.

THat's about as good a prediction as the rather rude man/woman who said that Heathcote would take us down this year.

Sorry but you spoiled my season - our best for many years.

So, one person saying what they think, that wasnt anything insulting about you, has ruined your season?

And now you keep harping on about it for no reason?

Grow up!

I would quite happily take a draw on Saturday after the mauling of last season.
Oxford lost to York this week and have a habbit of bouncing back this season - just for the next game only
