The ex Irish internation we had in the late 60s i think,or Gary Sprake of Leeds,he was worse than David James aways dropping clangers like throwing the ball into his own goal

Stephen hawking was pretty gash when he played in goal for my 5-aside team. Saying that I wasn't much better at the soccer dome on monday night, reckon i conceeded about 10 in 10 minutes.

I'll let ballers decide whos better.

Bobby Irvine was that guilty man.

Endured a nightmare in a 4-2 home defeat against Wigan in the FA Cup in October 1966....and I don't think he ever played for Alty again...?

I believe that he went on to play for Telford United for quite a few seasons.

I think that he was in goal for Telford in the two F.A. Trophy ties that we played against them in 1972.
