it's incredible isn't it? every time i listen to one of these commentaries it seems we have come up against a team that would put brazil to shame.

"I've seen that free kick from Altrincham last year"

We've seen it every week for the last decade!

Rather a lot of "Altrincham hit it long" coming over the airwaves, not great with Little and Senior up front now....

Although we conceded striaght after the sub as we didn't have time to get organised.

But since we've had 3 strikers on we seem to have taken the game to them because prior to that we were getting battered. Why can't we just start with a positive, attacking team? we are soooo much better going forward!!!

At home or against lower teams I'd agree 100%, but at places like York we'll just get picked off and concede 5.

theyve just said that york have been on a good run which included a win at northwich and losing to burton. so their win at northwich and losing to burton must have been of a higher standard than ours. oh, hang on they are lower than us in the league. i fancy us to peg this back now.

I think there is definitely the potential for something for Alty in this game. It is time for Col to start his run of good form.

Meanwhile, coincidence that the only 2 games called off are at teams who are short of money.

York are below us?!

Id rather  lose 5-0 going forward than 2-0 defending all game.

By the sound of it from the first 30 mins we were on the verge of getting battered anyway.

Guess we'll find out in this second half......

I said "lower" not "below us", as in bottom 4.

All home games I agree should be attack-fests, but not York away. Let's hope for a better second half! :)

no surprise that the northwich game was off. i'd imagine the pitch was frozen solid in the shadow of their main stand.

We seem to play better in the second half - a draw is possible. Dale is in a rich vein of form and due a goal...
