NEW YEAR INVITATION TO MOSS LANE
Because there are no Premiership or Football League matches on New Year's Day, Altrincham Football Club is offering current season-ticket holders from any Premiership or Football League club the chance to see the Blue Square Premier (Conference) match between Altrincham and Northwich Victoria on January 1st for just £5. Kick-off is at 3pm. Entry is via gates 5 and 6 (on Moss Lane). All season tickets from Premiership and Football League clubs must be accompanied by valid photo ID.

Alty v Northwich games are the two clubs' only Cheshire "derby" fixtures and are always well-contested affairs so, if you are accustomed to watching Premiership or Football League games why not come along and see a lively game from pitchside rather than a seat in Row Z of Old Trafford or Eastlands or whichever league ground you attend. You can even stand up to watch the game from the terraces at Moss Lane, if you prefer. A sizeable crowd is expected so please arrive by 2.30p.m.

The ground is just a short walk from Altrincham bus/tram/rail interchange and is only two miles from the M56 motorway. Directions to Moss Lane can be found here. We hope that if you take advantage of this offer you might come again when your own team is not playing - in fact, you might even get "converted" to non-League football!

Perhaps we should also appeal to their potential vanity and mention that they could also get their face on TV...?
