I know a lot of people may be surprise by today's result - I for one was not.

We have a great attacking trio in Little-Senior-Johnson/Elam and can cause problems for anyone.

Add that to a hard-working defence and midfield and the fact we are good at hitting teams on the break when forced to soak up pressure, and I think we can go far!

The only negative today was that there were under 900 home fans at the game. That's very disappointing!

Well yes agreed to a certain extent but 5 years ago there would be possibly under 600 home fans, money is tight, we played midweek, and if it is as cold there as it is here in Surrey that's another factor. Crowds are up again this year, its a slow but sure rise.

how things change to say only just under 900 home fans.... I remember when 900 was just a dream.

If anyone has still got the radio Cambridge player on, I have to say, I'm enjoying the jazz!

Today was just brilliant. Best performance I've seen from an Alty team for years.

It's unbelievable really. I can recall practically no shots from 3 and a half hours of football against Luton and today I lost count! The second half in particular was brilliant and I'm sure even Mr. Vessey will admit that.

Great result and well deservered. Our back five (whoever has played) have been  the cornerstone to our position in the league.

Special mention to Mark McGregor who in my eyes is an absolute unsung hero.

Cracking game today, especially the second half when Cambridge appear to have been given a bit of a team talk at half-time and upped their performance. Shame that Johnson didn't get any reward for his brace of chances in the second half. Also well done to Andy Ralph for keeping a clean sheet.

However, surprised that no-one has yet commented on the key action to this game - that of Mr Vessey's keepy-uppy at half time  ;). That said, I wouldn't be able to get to three even with a round ball let alone an inflatable square!!
