He scored two good goal. He caused lots of trouble in there defence, I think he was our target man. I tink we should play him more.

Greg young did really well to as an attacking midfeilder.

it was against vauxhall

we should beat these kind of teams 4-2 at worst in the full 90 mins, no extra time

gradually became a better side later into the game

Subtle dig at GH? Joe was getting absolutely hammered on here at the end of last season. I bet if he had been playing this season you'd have been complaining about that too.

I am one of those who seriously have misgivings about whether Joe is good enough at BSP level for us.
Having said that, he should play because he clearly WANTS it enough and this will be a big asset for us as we are now.
I only wish everyone else 'wanted it' as much as he does.

I wouldn't get too excited if I were you.

Of the 16 goals that O'Neill has managed to score during his career with Alty to date, five of them have come in the Cheshire Senior Cup (31.25%).

We obviously need to save him for all CSC matches....and, possibly, the Northwich away league game?

To be honest I think O Neill should be last on the pecking order considering the other attacking options we have.

Just because he scored a brace against Vauxhall Motor's I don't think we should be saying how he should start all of a sudden!  :o

What would be more telling, is if we tally up how many goals the team scores when he's on the pitch compared to when he isn't. I tried to look at this last night but last seasons line-ups havent been added to the archive yet (as far as i can see).

Im not for starting Joe every game, but I do think he should be playing more.

This of course could be complete coincidence.

With what Joe lacks in ability, he more than makes up with 110% of pure, hard work. Although it was only Vauxhall, he showed his passion and commitment to the cause, and his finishes, givin the time he had, were top quality
