as longman said- £30 a team, so less than a fiver a player (inc. subs) and im sure parents may pay for younger teams.

what would also be funny is if a mini fair was maybe set up (bobbing for apples, throwing wet sponges at GH or any volunteers, and other mini games- all simple to set up with little cost)

or in VofD's case bricks.. ;D

Altrincham FC Juniors had a junior tournament over the weekend, running 4 competitions, 2 on the Saturday 2 on the Sunday for ages U8 - U11's, it was a great success, i think they attracted around 70 teams over the weekend but don't quote me on that, although this was ran for the junior section what it did do was raise the profile of the club as a whole.
