" We're gonna win the Cheshire Senior Cup" Interchangeable with NW Floodlit League.

Usually sung after a home defeat to Gt Harwood.

thats really odd, as i walked home tonight i was singing a song to myself about the north west floodlit league. i havent thought of the nwfl for at least 30 years. what a strange competition that was

If we let in 5 pens I assume Stu wasn't in goal.

I think Stu is one of them keepers, if he goes the right way, unless it is hit hard and deemed by all as 'unstoppable', he'll save it.
and probably nantwich had to score their 5th to win, alty taking first, so there is no need in us taking out last, as they would win anyway.

Oh dear WTF never mind, good look Nittwich.TBH I wish we didn't have to enter it, it really is a potential nuisance at the end of a season like this.

Hope no injuries, onwards to Saturday.

I came home after Nantwich scored their 3rd. We were bloody awful and deserved to lose. I don't care if it's a tinpot cup or not. We're god knows how many leagues higher than they are and they outplayed us. Fecking rubbish.

If Nantwich went 1st we would not have needed to take the last pen.

I reckon Nantwich wanted it more tonight & we had players wanting to stay out of crippling tackles
