same here yeovill at home. that would have been good. and why was our win over birmingham not on the little film clip the BBC just showed before the draw?? it showed a host of non-league teams gaining upsets so where were we?

I always thought it was because they didn't have a decent quality clip of our matches but the Chester City goal would go down a treat on that sort of compliation.

Really?

I reckon you could argue that our performance earlier in the season against D&R was worse.

D&R were half decent tho, or at the least v clinical Jimmy. It's my honest opinion we were below par against Weymuff who if they had D&R finishing would've leathered us, embarrassing against Morecambe to an extent, fairly nondescript v Oxford and in truth didn't really play as we can against Southport either.

We've been swimming against the tide this month somewhat but as I said in another post, we've had a tough set of fixtures with a second string which has stepped up to the mark more than we expected, a busy start to the season has caught up with a couple of us (chalmers). Now we have 8 days (well 7 now but..) til York and then 2 free weeks, possibly 3 to get everyone fit and ready and settled. A big push with 7 games left this calendar year, no less than 11 points will do from them either.

Ah yes, but we had a stronger side out against D&R than we did yesterday against R&D. ;)

I thought Rushden did everything right yesterday. We were poor, but I think some people may be exaggerating just how poor we were, especially in comparison to other recent performances.

We all have bad days. (Or years, for the Diamonds... ;)). I don't know how many times us RandD fans thought we'd reached rock bottom over the last few years. We have had so many demoralizing defeats. Relegation to the Conference was shocking. We were in disbelief. 1st game of new season and we lost to Crawley! I really thought that was it. How bad can a club get!?

But thats footie for you. Yeovil next month. Bloody Woking the week after!
