Great Injury News!
« on: February 07, 2008, 04:29:08 PM »

"Alty have received a major boost ahead of Saturday's game at Droylsden with the news that injured trio Liam King, who limped off during the 2-1 win over Vauxhall, Ryan Toulson and Tom Cahill should be fit to return to the starting line-up."

From Messenger site..no wonder Droyslden have taken their forum down!

BRILLIANT NEWS.....because if toulson had been unfit i fear he may have played cahill and little up front to put senior on the wing but I'd really love to see toulson on the wing with senior exploiting their centre backs.

Can't see him starting with Senior and Little if Cahill is back, unfortunately Chris and Col don't seem to complement each other, both very small etc.  I think he may drop Senior and start with Cahill and Little, however I'd like to see Senior on the wing again, even at the expense of Toulson.

GH is nothing if not loyal. I can't see him droping either Col or Chris. There's also the added factor that Tom Cahill has not played for a while and may not be match fit yet. The one thing he won't do is play all three of them!

Colin Little has had a few games on the bench and has come back better, I think he's defo worthy of a starting place.  Pretty much like O'Neil.. I like players who resond positively.

Chris - I would personally keep with Greg Young at the back instead of Tinno, Young has been brilliant for me, he is better on the floor than Tinno, just my opinon though.

Looks like we're getting conflicting reports because the BBC team news says Toulson definitely WON'T play.

You wouldn't miss Warren Peyton until we are hanging on to a 2-1 lead with 5 minutes to go and its backs to the wall.

Just what I was going to post. Cahill may not be totally match fit and we cant afford to be carrying anybody. It would be nice if we could ease him in with 10 or 20 minutes of the game to go.

We could also do with Cahill for the stronger Farsley defence on Tuesday.
