Weather for the Woking match
« on: January 30, 2008, 05:14:04 PM »

Tomorrow's weather forecast of heavy showers and strong winds is not too encouraging.

Do we know if Woking are journeying North on the day.....and, if indeed they are, what time would any pitch inspection have to be made to prevent them travelling unnecessarily?

Or are they staying somewhere nearby on Wednesday evening?

Posh southern teams always travel up the day before and stay in swanky hotels with health spas and training pitches. I've written to them all telling them the Britannia is the place to say.

I've already recommended the B & B opposite the George & Dragon, lovely and quiet, out of town, fabulous healthy brekkie ;o)

Glad to see that you are still alive.

Late fitness test for tomorrow evening's game, perhaps?

Been back at work today :o(  Internet been down for the last 2 hours so had a walk around town - even got some bargains!

Late fitness check tomorrow, scrumptious delights on offer are quite appealing though  ;D

Maybe you could let me have the pitch condition update at about 7.20 p.m. before I set off on the long trek?

What time is a decision made?

I'm setting off to work, and Timperley has the worst wind and rain I've seen in a long time  :-[

It's as bad as I've seen in a bit but not, in my opinion,  as bad as last January when it blew my Garage Roof off!
