Who is in charge of this forum? I'm interested in setting up a similar one for an unofficial U's website and would be interested to know the time/effort/costs it takes to run and set something like this up.

Yes Longsden i'll look into it. Although i run our unofficial website i'm completely clueless as to the managing and setting up of a messageboard forum, so if you run me through what's what that would be great ta.

It would be good for Cambridge to have decent forum, the other two arent up to the job, you have to sign your life away to read one, and the other one is quite frankly humourless duck based sh*t  ;D

The one where you have to sign your life away is by and far away the best messageboard we have (the official site one), and registering is a bit easier nowadays. Most just fill the compulsory bits with bullsh*t, i know i do. Unfortunately, the duck mob are the ones who want this new forum! The new and revamped AmberArmy one is not to their liking, the miserable sods  :D

It's not all CUFC related, the current top story is a piece i wrote on the scourge of the transfer window and it's possible impact on lower league clubs.

And.... if anyone out there wants a general football related article put online i'd be happy to stick it on the site, anything from your thoughts on the new England manager to the state of non-league today etc etc...
