have to agree i'm not one to be out there criticising people normally but this is becoming worse than a joke. However, what was the barraking for so early on in a game which sounds like despite the poor conditions we seem to be having the best of?

Just spoke to someone in the main stand.

GH appeared to react to a plea from a supporter to "spread out and get more width."

Hardly a demand for him to be dismissed!

The barracking may well have been bang out of order. I know for a fact that most people who shout abuse at Alty games are talking out of their arse. Nevertheless, our manager should just rise above it. He's not a stupid person and he is capable of being the bigger man and ignoring idiotic abuse.

Certainly not worth fighting about

As mentioned above....the shout from the supporter couldn't really be termed as abuse or barracking, surely?

got to be honest then wide games are not the sort of games you play when the pitch is sticky and the ball is holding up.

but going off at a fan is not acceptable just because they want to play the wrong style of football.

I love GH and everything he's done for the club and his passion is unquestionably what makes him a good manager.....or did!

Its getting to the point now where i think all of this malarky is changing the perception of the club. If we lose 2 fans after every game because of this the main stand will be empty in a year!

Im pained to say it but its the fans who should show this level of commitment. Imagine if your manager at work offered someone out everytime they received a complaint. I suppose my point is that GH needs a break from alty before it breaks him or the club!

Wide games were played in forests when I was in the scouts. This would be entirely inappropriate tonight!  :o

Rain has ceased.

Alty defending the Chequers End.....or attacking the Golf Road End, depending on your opinion!

Any idea if the Kiddie subs are to go more attacking or defensive?

That'll be attacking sub then!
