Phil O'Donnell (35), Motherwell captain died during the game with Dundee United today. Sort of puts things into perspective really.

His nephew was playing with him for 'Well. I am sure the thoughts of everyone at Alty will be with him, his family and the friends & colleagues of O'Donnell.

Well said. Its a cliche I know, but I hope he died doing something he enjoyed - mimimal consolation as that is.
