What are we looking for in it?

Are we looking at a reasonably good chance of silverware, or a chance for the not so regulars for a game?

Personaly i think we could do well in it as higher teams may not be as interested in it as some of the lower teams.

Its a conundrum: it would  be nice to do well and maybe pick up some silverware (I don't know if Setanta/BS allow 2nd strings to be put out, but I suspect not. If so the bigger teams will put out some reserve players), but I would not be heartbroken if we get knocked out - as long as it is NOT by a BS North team!

If we were allowed to play some 2nd string players, who have we got? Is it just youth players as we do not seem to have much by way of a reserve team.

Rules are you have to play at least 10 players who played in the last league game.

What happens if you have injuries or sickness (or international call-ups!)?

I suspect there will be a sudden outbreak of "niggling injuries" after the Trophy matches this weekend, shortly followed by miraculous recoveries in time for the Boxing Day derby games. Having said that, we have a squad of about 17 fit players so it's not as if we have much to fall back on.

I think we should go to Nuneaton looking to win and build some momentum ahead of the Northwich games.
