The BSP Player of the Month for November is former Alty youngster Lewis Chalmers, now at Aldershot Town. Another graduate of the NW Youth Alliance League, in which Lewis played for Altrincham's Youth team, is Droylsden's Chris Denham (ex-Prestwich Heys) who was fourth in the same Player of the Month vote.

I'm not surprised about Chris Denham. He's an exceptional player, we were so close to getting.

I've always been bewildered by why we have never signed Chris Denham, particularly a few years ago when he had drifted down to Ashton United.

He's always been a thorn in our side.

He's never signed for us because he's gready, money grabbing so and so.
