Satdee's result in perspective?

BSP: FT Rushden & D'monds 2-3 Histon

Considering it was 2 dodgy goals (of different sorts) that beat us, maybe we are not far off where we need to be.

Somehow, we have contrived to let both those teams win at Moss Lane this season via defensive blunders.

In truth we are not far from other teams, the problem is we do not get results.

There was mention in the SaM post that Carlos Logan cant contribute to the game but comments that we have no one in the box for him to cross to.

I saw on Satruday this happen a number of times.

However when you look at the goal we scrored we had FOUR, yes FOUR in the box.

I feel alot of the problem is down to the midfield, not supporting the forwards and then sometimes when we do get up, say for corners we all cram the six yard box and there is no one to pick up the lose balls coming out.

Logan used to hang off at the back corner of the 18 yard box on corners and he picked up alot of balls from there.

I therefore conclude that positioning of our players needs to improve with a more fluid midfield, and cutting out the simple errors and we will be a good BSP side.

Jenga some good points there. Although Logan is not currently the answer. Looks good but needs to work on the end product.

We  are slow supporting the forwards at times.

In truth we aren't good enough for this league. We make mistakes and give goals away thats what happens when you play above your level.

Our only hope is to bring in more goals to balance the ones we will inevitably give away. Cant see that happening. Bring on the AGM!

All teams make mistakes but this year we are making more! It does not mean we are not good enough. If we play well amd loose all the time then I will be worrried.

Xmas is going to be crucial and into the New year

Maybe were just getting them out of the way in the first half of the season?!
