I thought he had been at the club since 1971 but Setanta insist he has been here 30 years. Did he wander off for a while or have they got it wrong?

He was assistant Player/manager at Witton with John Rogers for a while in I think if memory serves me well about 1985ish

It's become part of the GH legend that he's been there continuously. He wasn't part of the club when we beat Birmingham for instance.

Surely he completes 40 years of continuous unbroken service on 2011?

It's a real myth isn't it?....I wonder if the cote sees the funny side?
