Will tonight be the first time that an Altrincham game has ever been shown live on TV?

Huddersfield at home in the Cup in 1990 was live on BSB - there were a few Sportcast in 1990/1 and Wire TV 1994/5.

Supposed to be but it was called off in favour of something like Oxford or Torquay TV.

The Cambridge game wasn't shown on TV because it clashed with the Champions' League. Nothing to do with our 3-sided friends or the turkeys.

Is this the way to Mickleover
I'd rather go there than Dover

Alty vs Barnet on 90/91 was the first non league "league" match shown live on tv....the famous 4-1 victory...
Our last live tv appearance that season was away at Barrow, which went a long way to ending our hopes of the title that season, I seem to remember

after that performance, I get the feeling we are gonna be on tv a bit more. It was a really entertaining game, probs the best BSP gam i have watched on Sultana this season.

For me it was one of the strangest things I've done in ages.  Its bad enough not being able to get to the game and getting text updates and being on the forum.

To then see what you are missing actually made it worse I think.  I felt helpless.  I kept shouting "you've gotta release it" and stuff then realised no-one other than than the cats could hear me.  And seeing a bloody clock all game made the minutes like hours when we were winning/drawing.

Just really glad we didn't roll over and gave it a good go.

I actually quite enjoyed the experience, much better than checking progress on the web  ;D  But then I can't get to many matches, so I'm not missing the "live" experience as much. Don't get me wrong, I'd always rather be there if I possibly can but this has got to be the next best thing if you really can't get to a match - beer as well  ;)
