Farsley losing was the most important result, though. We can go ahead by winning our game in hand - even though that is away at Stevenage

Droylsden were bound to score a hatful against somebody given the tactics they employ.

Luckily for us more often than not their tactics cause them to lose.

The absence of the prolific Stuart Fleetwood from the Forest Green team at Droylsden today didn't really help our cause either.

It could have been worse. Northwich, Droylesden and Stafford will probably be relegated with one from Farsley, Altrincham and a team for non footballing reasons. Farsley losing was a great result.

FGR have a chance to redeem themselves next week at Stafford I think.

It appears that Jackson, the defender who did really well for Farsley on tuesday got a straight red (3 game ban) hopefully that will affect them badly.

Did their man Reeves get a 1 or 3 match ban?

It will be good for us if they are without 2 of their best players. I am surprised they did not play McNiven the other night - he has caused us some damage in the past.

Are you getting your McNivens mixed up by any chance?

The one at Farsley is Scott, who is a defender.

His twin brother David is the striker and I believe that he is still with Stafford Rangers.

Forest Green and Barrow both lost today. I imagine the midweek cup replays left them pretty drained.
