The Most Offensive Opposing Manager Comments I have Ever Read

From www.thisisweymouth.co.uk

Weymouths clown of a manager writes...

"We were only one behind and still in the game at that point against a side we are capable of scoring five or six against so that was very disappointing.
advertisement

"No disrespect to Altrincham but it was a match we should have won. We have played against so many better teams and performed much better and got something. And it was not even that they deserved to win it was just we were very poor."

Suggest you have a little look at the league table you bigtime fool.  Your team was moderate at best and your stunning record against the minnows of Altrincham continues.  Christ, we know we aren't world beaters but no one beats us by six goals at home in my memory.

When do we play Weymouth away? Quote that horse manure to the players beforehand & I see another victory (no disrespect to Weymouth!)

He failed to mention there bound to let goals in against any team in the league when he picks a keeper with no intelligence or awareness, even some of there fans could see that

"And it was not even that they deserved to win it was just we were very poor."

Maybe we just made them look poor by playing well.

Many thank, Weymouth manager, for being so gracious in defeat. As Ecky says, look at the league table!

Hughesy pointed out worlds funniest thread on morecambe forum the other day.

Please can we sticky a similar thread and keep it edited with similar comments on from all the teams. Perhaps we could get it to the players before each game when there is a new addition.

I find it embarrassing that teams like weymouth think so much of themselves. Show those comments to the players before the game on tuesday and watch them grab 3 points. If thats not motivation enough I dont know what is!

Who does this guy think he is? Was he watching the same game on Saturday? Weymouth were/are probably the worst team I have seen in this league to date!

It's not as if they had any world beaters! I can't actually remember any real saves that Stu had to make on Saturday.. so how does he think his "great" team should have put 5 or 6 past us?!

It's that sort of attitude that'll cascade down to his players and they'll end up in a right load of sh*t come the end of the season!

If they were very poor and we weren't does that not mean we did DESERVE to win?

I dont know how many points we have amassed exactly in the past 2.5 seasons, lets say 115. But I think around 90 of them have prompted this kind of reaction. Its pathetic, but kind of funny.

Why does a club like Weymouth with less conference history than us think it has a right to spank us?

I hope every team visiting Moss lane takes this attitude, that way we are guaranteed to survive!! ;D

Weymouth might have been disaster prone at the back but I thought they played some very entertaining football in what overall was a very entertaining game. An indication of their ability was the number of times Joe O'Neill was able to hold the ball up and sometimes even lay off a pass, something he's not done a lot of this season.

They did play some good stuff, but they kept trying the same thngs all the time.

As mentoned above get that on the dressing-room wall for tomorrow night

Come on now boys lets be fair. You should know by now that a team like Weymouth played some very pretty fotball...............on the half way line and against lowley little teams like Alty a few passes acrss the pitch should be classed as scoring a goal.
