Chris Seniors 2nd goal yesterday
« on: November 18, 2007, 11:22:45 PM »

Was very John Brady v Runcorn (Aug90) and Barnet (Mar91) esque, with a slight hhint of Ronnie Ellis v Lincoln in the FA Cup about it.

 :)

Anyway, a question. This is from JohnLaidlars match report.

Alty took the lead which came after two long throws in succession from Shotton. Weymouth cleared the ball but only to Sedgemore, just outside the front edge of the box. His excellent header set Senior free and from right of goal he beat the keeper with a fine shot (67 mins).

Is it just me (and joe) but I am sure that it was Darren Tinson's header which set up this goal? Absolutely convinced that it was him rather than Sedge, he did really weel to guide it to Senior as well.

Anyone?

I thought it was Tinno's header too.

It was definitely Tinnos header.

I think its time John Laidlar called it a day  ;)

I wasn't sure but thought it was Sedgemore.I consulted the oracle that is Dave Stringer & the Press Association guy & they thought it was Jake too.

What a conundrum?

Mister Flynn,

You should have asked your usual sources in the Main Stand!

Tinno supplied the header.

From where I was it was Tinno's header - however every report that I have seen have given the assist to Jake. Strange
