Anychance of a ticket?
« on: November 09, 2007, 08:50:03 PM »

I fully intended to be back in time to go to the ticket office today but have just got back this minute.  Oh how the authorities love to crush lower league football

I understand that they won't be selling tickets tomorrow (not even before midday?) so if anybody has a spare standing ticket then i'd gladly take it off their hands.

Cheers

True. No harm in asking.  I hadn't checked the site until last night and didn't for one minute think it would be an all ticket affair but that's how it goes.

A mate can't make it, so I have a spare ticket. PM me and we can sort it out.

Don't forget that we are in the (slightly weird) minority whose lives revolve to a large extent around Alty FC. Normal people don't get on their computers about 10.40 at night and click the refresh button until Mr Laidlars latest offering comes up.  ;D Why would most people check the site, in most cases they will rely on media outlets to inform them. Why would it be all ticket? Plus I believe the demographics of the town have changed, we say people aren't used to going to Alty, most haven't even been to a big cup game now either.

If you ask 10 people in Alty or the surrounding area where the ground is then at least 5 of them won't be able to tell you. I believe we as a club have things to reflect on here.

Also, I wouls imagine a great many of the fans who come on these sites are exiles - relatively few from the Altrincham area.
