I think, with him being terrible, he was  about as free as you can get.

Has a man ever lived more of the fact "he must be good if that dutch club signed him"?

Might get a goal or two at that level but will flatter to deceive.

Said he was in the 'Stuart Rudd' mould. Well Rudd is out injured for 6 months but I don't think that's what they meant.  :D

No, I've had a go at Rudd in the past for being a prolific NWCL scorer who hasn't got ambition to go higher but he's a steady player. To compare Thomson to him is terrible.

Hmm, Patterson (who would be a good player a divison or 2 higher), Aaron Burns, Peter Thomson. Wonder who the regular front two will be?

Transfer window only applies to Conference National, sorry BSP clubs and above. FCUM can sign who they want, and if that's who they want, far be it from me to stop them!!

It's a sad state of affairs when a player who has consistently under achieved can still end up with a club.... at any level.
