I reckon there should be some sort of wage cap or something .... oh yes ......

In rugby league this works very well (in the Superleague) with clubs being fined & receiving points deductions (bigger clubs included).

Meanwhile, if you look at Widnes RLFC, they may go out of business because they could not afford NOT to get promoted - they overstretched themselves. It is possible the Halton Stadium might not be used at all next season unless someone piles money into Widnes (and the whole cycle will start again).

Shame it does not work in the Conferenece: overspend & you get punished or go out of business!

Totaly agree, it should applie to all teams and club in england regardless of what sport they are. It would help finances over all.

That idea might work in theory, and in practice it will be a good idea. However, there will be loads of oposition if  it where to go through. But i definatly would support the idea.
