1-If Lawton plays it has to be in the middle
2-He is most affective playing in the middle with EITHER sedge or whalley, put the other on the bench
3-Senior should start a game
4-Potts OR logan should start but not both or wel get nackered and get torn apart defensively

Sedgemore and Walley cannot play in the centre together, we will get bullied in the midfield
Oxford were a poor side and with a bit more grit and dertermination we could have beaten them, we showed we could match them but just couldnt hang on to the draw because we were too slow and didnt hassle them or make them work hard enough last 10 mins, unfortunately this may just be a result of being part time and this may happen alot this season as a result of getting tired..

I am sick of the negative tactics from the start of games.  3 most attacking threats on the bench, wait till 1 nil down then change it. O'Neill is not strong enough to be a target man so why play hopeless balls up to him, centre half winning the ball every time. Lawton again on the right, sh*te in this position. The annoying thing is Oxford were very poor and with more positive tactics we could have won this. Whats the point in being negative at home, away from home fair enough. Its the same every week, lets keep it tight until they score then we'll go for it, by which time its too late to win. OK we nearly got a draw today but until Senior came on I don't think Logan knew if he was up front or on the wing. Rant over.

you have saved me a post!  Its getting unbearable to watch Alty underperforming  >:(

i have to admit, the ball did end up on the right wing a lot, but robbie could not quite produce pinpoint balls into the middle, and when he chose not to, mayble laney should have knocked a few in, but an improvement anyhow because we did ask for attack down the wing

i'll have my say

after only watching the second half at stafford , i watched the whole match today and even saw the kick off due to the new no serving in the bar rule (whats that all about )
so having remembered what a kick off actually is i think i can safely say i was very impressed by the improvment all round on stafford
What new rule? The bar has to stop serving 15 minutes before kick off its not a new rule thats always been the way, If you were stopped entering the bar after this time the stewards are asked by Jenny not to let any more in because they won't get served but some fans have mates who have got them a drink in and they are usually let in subject to the bar not being full. The bar opens on a saturday approx 1230

It has always been that way as Darren says, its part of the licensing agreement for the bar and the sponsors lounge.

To be fair to Gazeele, he's been stuck in Hereford or India somewhere so this would have been the first he knew of the rule I expect. Loved the new tv.
