Connor's FT report

FULL TIME - A superb result for the Robins.

Just as it seemed all hope had been lost, O'Neill pops up to punish his old club - they should have known better.

Alty set out their stall to get a result and when that failed, plan B worked just as well. The introduction of Senior and Potts made all the difference.

The two substitutes provided impetus and a genuine attacking threat and under sustained pressure, York couldn't hold out.

Maybe the Minstermken will feel somewhat aggrieved, having had more shots, possession and territory but credit has to go to the visitors, who generally defended well and never gave up.

Their ability to score from set pieces is a major bonus and with things tight at the bottom of the Blue Square Premier, the lack of victory so far this season is stilol not a disaster.
