A results Comparison

It would be good to have a results comparison against last season running somewhere on the website.

Perhaps the forum is the place for this.

Where can instantly compare how we are doing - Lets say 52 will be enough to survive this year - knowing out luck we would get relegated on 52 though.

At present we are like for like but a continual comparison would be nice to see.

Ditto attendance comparison would be interesting. Though I appreciate that different games at different times of the season will affect indivudual attendances

From the corresponding fixtures that make up our first ten games we acheived 9 points last season, with wins at home to Grays and Cambridge, draws at halifax, Forest Green and at home to Aldershot and defeats at home to Exeter, at Stafford, at York, at home to Oxford and at Woking.

So our points comparison game by game for the first 10 matches should be 0,1,2,5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 9

I'll try and do the same over the whole season with the following subsitutions:

St Albans replaced by Histon
Tamworth replaced by Salisbury
Southport replaced by Droylesden
Dagenham replaced by Torquay
and erm Morecambe replaced by Farsley Celtic

I reckon 60 points target this year

Against top 6 - no points home or away
Rest of top half - draw at home, defeat away (6pts)
Rest of bottom half - win at home, point away (24 pts)
Bottom 5 - win home and away (30 pts)

Any slip ups can be made up for with bonus results like Stevenage last year.  So far we're on target!

My guess:
Torquay, Exeter, Oxford, Stevenage, York, Burton - Top 6
Rushden, Kiddie, Aldershot,  Weymouth , FGR, Cambridge - rest of top half
Grays, Halifax, Ebbsfleet, Woking, Histon, Crawley - 4pts each
Farsley, Stafford, Salisbury, Droylsden, Vics - beat this lot home and away

You have to take into account that one, two or more clubs are going to have points deducted for some misdemeanour, i.e. a foul throw.
