It's usually about 1503. It's never 1500.

Much improved today against a very good Gateshead team. The lad from Blackburn is different class he?s destined for big things. Much more balanced with Eddie Jones playing on the left. Linney is becoming a bit of a liability picking up silly cards. Another good performance on Wednesday please lads

Good game that & for once it was Alty with the crucial late goal. Knew there would be some rotation & I l know he?s been out for a while but Bickerstaff looked a bit lightweight to me & didn?t offer much. Linney won?t be sweating on his spot. Gateshead were very impressive & probably should have finished us off at 2-1 but kudos to us, we kept battling & deserved that goal. Must be the first time we?ve got something off them at home for a while.

Great craic in the fanzone before KO with the speeches & shots. Credit to Frankie & team for making that a key part of the matchday experience for a lot of us now. Thought the crowd maybe a few hundred down on what you?d like but suspect a cup run might have generated a bit more of a buzz. Not to be alas.

Good enjoyable game and probably fair result in the end, we were better team in first 20 minutes, Gateshead got going after we took the lead and look like a play off team (??), but we stuck at it and got the equaliser. We probably created more chances, certainly in the first half, difference was Gateshead nailed theirs, we were bit more wasteful, but at least we created a decent amount.

Some very encouraging performances from the likes of Reddin, Crawford and Humbles. Hope Ethan Ross is OK after clattering with the post (post might have some off worse).

Good performance until we got as far as their penalty area. Some great crosses put in but no one on the end of them.
We are one striker away from being a play off worthy team. Bickerstaffe and Nuttall have been huge disappointments.

A much improved performance on the last two games I?ve seen (Braintree and Solihull at home). Still the odd pass going astray when it really shouldn?t and there is clearly a need for a striker who will take the burden off Linney and Newby.
Reddin had a good game and is tricky and fast but sometimes too tricky. Olsen is destined for a future in the game and is bulky and mature for his years.
I felt we gave the number 19, Hannent, far too much space and time on the right, he was allowed to get the ball into the box over and over again without any real pressure, and indeed this lead to the equalising goal.
Gateshead were decent though and a point was probably fair.

Agree with this and great to get a late equaliser for once instead of the opposition getting a late goal. It is still concerning though that we have to be 'twice as good upfront' than our opponents to win games....we seem to have to create 4 good opportunities to score a goal, whereas the play-off contenders in this division just need the two chances to score. We are a very good side, but our performance in the final 18 yards of the pitch is not what it needs to be.

I still maintain that Kahrel Reddin is probably better off coming off the bench at this point, causing damage against more tired legs - and that might indeed end up being the case once Olly Crankshaw is fully fit again.

Big Ryan Shotton vibes from young Olsen, he is brilliant.

Yes. He's undoubtedly got a great career ahead of him. Perhaps Rovers could see the benefit for him (and them) in staying with us for the rest of the season? 🤞

I don't see a reason why not - he probably isn't getting into a Championship team any time soon - unless they wanted to shift him up into an EFL move?

They clearly rate him very highly - they didn't just take up their 12-month option on him, they gave him a completely fresh new two-year deal in the summer.
